The Duo shopping centre in Tampere is expanding its service offering. Tampereen Jäätelöliike Oy will open a new ice cream bar at the central square of the shopping centre in May.
“We will have the most extensive flavour selection in Finland”, says the ice cream company's Sales Manager, Perttu Mäkelä.
Minetti opened Finland´s largest ice cream bar at the shopping centre Koskikeskus in last August.
“Minetti ice cream bar has strengthened the offering of Koskikeskus. We are happy to introduce it in Duo as well. I believe that the new ice cream bar will also please our customers”, says Mari Laaksonen, Commercial Director of Citycon Oyj.
The kiosks and café of Tampereen Jäätelöliike Oy sell Minetti Jäätelö products – a trade name that is firmly rooted in the commercial and industrial history of Tampere. The Italian musician Giuseppe Minetti settled in Ratina, Tampere in 1909 and started manufacturing ice cream according to the best Italian traditions in the 1920s. Members of the Minetti family are still involved in the operations of Tampereen Jäätelöliike Osakeyhtiö.
