CITYCON AB Pressmeddelande 13 december 2017
As a response to past years incidents and to meet the rapid changes in risk that are affecting the shopping center security landscape, the NCSC, in collaboration with SAFE ShoppingCenters and Citycon, is providing the Guide to Shopping Center Risk and Security.
The guide has been developed by SAFE ShoppingCenters for the Nordic and Baltic shopping center community, and aims to give guidance and provide knowledge of the basic risk and security management needs. It covers topics like risk assessment, security planning and crisis management as well as high threat procedures that should be in place in a shopping center.
The guide will be released on December 13th and will be provided free of charge by NCSC and distributed by SAFE ShoppingCenters.

– We aim to provide and ensure the highest level of safety and security for our staff, tenants, visitors and our shopping centers. To achieve this, we are actively endorsing collaboration for security in the industry and between stakeholders, says Per Sandberg, Head of Group Security, Citycon.
– The NCSC are working actively to support the shopping center industry with initiatives for a safer shopping center from both a visitor, staff and investment perspective. Since 2016 the Nordic Security Network is an important collaboration platform for the industry to share experience and gain knowledge about developments within the security field. We hope that this guide will be a useful tool which will help shopping center operators in their safety work, says Marika Wærn, Managing Director, NCSC.
